About this Playground
Garvin County Park is a 750 acre park with 4 campgrounds, 5 miles of hiking trails, and 11 miles of horseback riding trails. Trails are open year around, and a spacious and steep sledding hill is open to use. Garvin hosts spring turkey hunting and fall archery deer hunting, an 18-hole Disc Golf course, 5 picnic shelters, and playgrounds in 2 campgrounds and the main picnic area. Garvin has great space for many other recreational activities. The Cottonwood River runs through the park providing scenic spaces to explore, rest, or relax in all seasons.
