About this Playground
Founded in 1940 with the publicly funded "Pennies for Panther" campaign, Panther State Forest is a West Virginia state park within the over 7,000 acre Panther Wildlife Management Area. Park consists of a community pool, several trails, six campsites, reserveable group camp, and multiple picnic areas with reserveable picnic shelters.
